The one thing you should start doing today, if you want to be yourself and to smile more

Accepting that no matter how hard you try, you can't please everyone and that not everybody is going to like and appreciate you, no matter how nice and intelligent and friendly and interesting and hot you are, is hard. Very hard indeed.

[Mimi and Eunice explain every kind of human relationship,
in just three comic balloons]

And yet, at the very moment you are going to do it and you will be willing to embrace and own it, you will be happy you did. Because this will set you free. For good.

Free to be yourself. Free to be authentic. Free to enjoy your peace of mind.
Free to smile and to go on with your own life and your own projects and goals, while knowing that, most of the time even if not all the time, people not liking you is not even about you, who you are and what you do, and has probably nothing to do with you in the first place. Or at least not in the way you could imagine or blame yourself for.

Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.
Carl Gustav Jung [1875-1961]

Most of the time, you are not the reason at all.
You are just a trigger. Or a reminder of something else. Or someone able to let fears, insecurity, and doubts arise in others without even being aware of it. You are just the right person in the wrong place at the right moment. So why bother?

Feel free to give it a try, to just accept that nobody has to like you.
The results will surprise you.
